hansika motwani affinity for film stars

Madurai, the temple town of Tamil Nadu known for its rich culture and tradition, has a special affinity for film stars.
The passionate fans there go to any extent to express their adoration for their favourite actresses, including building temples for them and worshipping them as demigods. It was Kushbhoo and Namitha earlier, now their loyalties have shifted to glam doll Hansika, who is the most ‘happening’ star in K’town.
According to sources Hansika was approached recently by a group of fans from Maduari who expressed their desire to build a temple for the Velayudham girl.
Looks like the dainty girl is both thrilled and scared at the same time because she finds a temple built in honour of a living person a little difficult to come to terms with.
Hansika, who has just returned to her hometown from New York after completing her exams, told DC, “I do respect my fans’ love and affection towards me. It also makes me more responsible towards my work. But it is a little scary, equating human beings with ultimate power. Instead they can spend that money in charity and help the poor and needy.”
It may be recalled that Hansika helped an accident victim in Madurai recently when she was there for her upcoming film Oru Kal Oru Kannadi.
